On the 4th day of February way back in 2004 (15years ago), a certain 17year old boy called Messi signed for the Blaugranes. Smallish and humble looking, perhaps even his recruiters didn't expect he'd get to the level he is at today.
At the age of just 24 (March 20, 2012), Messi became FC Barcelona's all time topscorer, breaking a 50-something year old record!
Also in 2012, Lionel Messi scored 91goals for both club and country. This record is yet to be broken!
In 2015, he became La Liga's topscorer, overtaking Telmo Zarra. Together with Luis Suarez and Neymar Jr, they broke a spanish record by scoring 128 goals. Messi scored 58 of those!
Lionel Messi has won five (5) Balon d'ors and 5 European Golden shoes. He has also been La Liga and UCL's topscorer each five (5) times!
